About The Position

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This position requires experience in both acute care and outpatient settings, with occasional weekend coverage. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Must work one weekend per month) COMPETITIVE PAY!!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active New York State licensure or eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Experience in acute care and outpatient settings required
• Ability to work one weekend per month
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance

Nice To Haves

• Trauma and ICU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer occupational therapy services as prescribed by a physician
• Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment goals in collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and related reports
• Participate in clinics, rounds, and conferences, presenting patient progress and updates
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure adequate supplies
• Participate in staff education and training programs as needed
