About The Position
This position is for an Occupational Therapist working primarily day shifts from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a guaranteed 35 hours per week. The therapist may also work extended hours on Sundays, typically 8–10 hours, to help balance the weekly schedule. The Occupational Therapist provides rehabilitative care to patients with physical, cognitive, or functional limitations resulting from injury, illness, or chronic conditions. The role focuses on helping patients regain independence with daily living activities and improving overall functional ability through individualized therapy plans.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an active Occupational Therapist license in the appropriate state
- Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Knowledge of activities of daily living training, mobility support, and adaptive equipment use
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, hospital, or skilled nursing settings is preferred
