Occupational Therapy - Occupational Therapist (OT)
About The Position
Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist assignment with a start date of 6/15, working a consistent 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a 13-week contract in a clinic setting with 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatments, allowing for focused, one-on-one patient care. The clinic consists of 4 PTs and 1 PTA, supporting a collaborative rehab environment. The role primarily treats orthopedic conditions, with opportunities to work with pelvic floor or lymphedema patients if certified. No weekends or holidays required, making it ideal for candidates seeking work-life balance in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience (as specified)
- Active State PT License (pending license accepted)
- BLS Certification required
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Experience with 60-minute evaluations and treatments
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions and post-op rehab (e.g., joint replacements, spinal conditions)
- Ability to manage a full caseload in a structured outpatient clinic setting
- First-time travelers not accepted
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
- Experience with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, Parkinson’s, TBI) is a plus
