You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program
- Current Virginia OTA license (or eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred (home health or rehab a plus)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient assessments and treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and ADL training
- Implement OT interventions, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety and home exercise programs
- Document visits accurately and in compliance with regulations
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team
