The Occupational Health (OH) RN will work closely with the OH Coordinator and VP, of Clinical Operations to assess, track, and determine work clearance of BMS employees who may exhibit signs and symptoms of COVID. The OH RN will communicate and work with the health departments for potential outbreaks and ensure staff is tested per protocol. The RN will assist with any staff training as part of the program and work closely with infection control to ensure appropriate practices are employed to mitigate risk in the work environment. Including monitoring and recommending changes to the protocol in keeping with CDC/OSHA requirements, performing respirator fit testing Assessing clinical work areas for COVID-19 infection control risk, and recommending spacing or other practices to mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in nursing required. BSN preferred.
  • Three years of direct patient care
  • Clinical assessment. Occupational health experience required.
  • Maryland RN license
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
