About The Position

The O&L Terminal Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the terminal, including warehouse and yard activities, to ensure efficient, safe, and organized handling of oils and lubricants. This role ensures that all products are properly received, stored, and distributed while maintaining accurate inventory and operational readiness. The Terminal Manager manages personnel, coordinates logistics, and maintains facility standards to support customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. This position plays a critical role in optimizing terminal performance, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting overall business operations in a fast-paced environment. The O&L Terminal Manager operates in a combination of office, warehouse, and outdoor yard environments. This role involves exposure to varying weather conditions, industrial equipment, and petroleum-based products. Work is performed in a fast-paced setting requiring frequent coordination with staff, vendors, and customers.

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Completion of required company and customer safety training.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks (criminal and MVR).
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily terminal operations, including warehouse and yard activities.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of oils and lubricants.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including physical counts and system tracking.
  • Monitor and maintain terminal facilities to ensure safe, clean, and organized conditions.
  • Ensure yard and warehouse accessibility for employees, customers, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve load planning, routing, vehicle utilization, and labor productivity.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Order, track, and replace damaged or worn equipment and facility components.
  • Communicate and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, shipments, and operational activities.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate terminal staff to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all terminal operations.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and customer concerns.
  • Generate and analyze reports, including: Inventory levels and accuracy, Throughput and distribution metrics, Labor productivity, Equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and leadership teams to improve efficiency.
  • Utilize contractor management platforms (e.g., ISNetworld) to ensure compliance and contractor oversight.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to operational needs as required.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
