About The Position
As a Nutrition Lab Technician for Morrison Healthcare at Mayo Clinic, you will be working on a team that prepares formula and breast milk for neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adult populations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and are detail oriented. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with nurses, registered dietitians, and other care team members regarding breast milk and formula orders
- Prepare breast milk and formula accurately using established recipes and sanitation procedures
- Calculate breast milk recipes based on desired volume
- Navigate computer software to print labels and patient lists
- Identify and label formula and breast milk
- Deliver prepared feedings throughout the hospital
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces
- Receive formula and breast milk products and monitor inventory levels and expiration dates
