The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of Nursing Student Success Coach. This individual collaborates with the faculty and administration to identify nursing students at risk for academic challenges to provide targeted academic interventions. The Nursing Student Success Coach uses a strong foundation in nursing theory and clinical practice to explain concepts accurately and relate them to real-world scenarios to support students' success. This includes individualized coaching and tutoring on nursing course content, developing and delivering content-focused workshops and programs to contribute to student success. The Nursing Student Success Coach conducts exam reviews to analyze performance on test items and to teach critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. The Nursing Student Success Coach supports students with effective study and test taking strategies, and assists students with NCLEX preparation study planning. This role guides probationary students in fulfilling study plan requirements and requires documentation of interactions and sessions with students.
