Get to Know Your Team: Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo. The RN Quality Improvement Manager is responsible for working with senior leadership to determine the hospital’s quality initiatives, priorities, and implementation plans. This role also works to aggregate data and understand new regulatory initiatives in relation to quality in the organization. The manager is a key figure in educating, advising, and coordinating quality principles in relation to the PSH Mission and Vision. The RN Quality Improvement Manager works collaboratively as part of the health system team by living the PSH Mission and Vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPHQ certification
- Current Texas RN license
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- 5 years of acute care nursing experience, 2 years in quality improvement
- 1 year of management experience
- Experience working with CMS Regulations, DNV, and OSHA Standards
