About The Position

Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare is seeking a hard-working, dependable individual that can provide assistance to the residents, CNA’s and Nursing Staff of the Skilled Nursing Facility. This individual must be flexible – working anywhere from 1-3 days a week as needed on an occasional basis.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
There will be a moderate amount of bending, twisting, and walking with this position
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Observe instructions of charge nurse and carry out duties and responsibilities in conformance with established routines and guidelines
Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Must have good people skills and be able to get along with others.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and making resident beds
Emptying trash cans
Dusting bedside tables and nightstands (assuring resident’s personal space is clean and tidy.)
Serving resident food trays and beverages
Clearing trays and cleaning kitchen area after meals
Removing food carts to the Dietary Department after meals
Filling water mugs and stocking personal care items for residents
Being aware of standard precautions and avoidance of contamination
Caring for equipment and supplies within your responsibilities
Other related duties as assigned
