About The Position

We are seeking an Internist to provide comprehensive medical care to residents at a nursing home facility in Yonkers. This position offers a competitive base salary with additional incentives and flexible scheduling options. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Active New York State Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible
New graduates welcome to apply
Proficiency in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and EHR systems
Excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, empathy, and patience

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in the geriatric population
Conduct physical examinations and develop treatment plans
Coordinate care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Participate in care planning meetings and family conferences
