About The Position

Riley Children’s Health, Indiana's largest and most advanced pediatric healthcare system, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Excellence Program Administrator to join their team. The Nursing Excellence Program Administrator will lead and execute strategic initiatives to advance nursing excellence across the organization. This includes overseeing professional governance, promoting evidence-based practice, and sustaining Magnet recognition. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and refining programs and infrastructure that foster clinical excellence, safety, quality, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors of Nursing (BSN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires 5 years clinical experience in inpatient clinical settings.
  • Requires experience in Magnet coordination.
  • Requires experience in project management.
  • Requires experience in publication and/or programmatic application writing skills.
  • Requires excellent communication skills for a variety of different roles and leaders.
  • Requires experience in or ability to use computerized databases.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Previous professional publication and presentation skills at national level preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining professional governance structures aligned with organizational goals
  • Supporting evidence-based practice, quality improvement, research, and innovation initiatives in collaboration with Nurse Scientists
  • Leading efforts to achieve and sustain Magnet® designation through strategic planning and system development
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration to improve nursing practice, outcomes, and staff engagement
