Nursing Assistant Surgical Inpatient PT Nights
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Nursing Assistant for its Surgical Inpatient Unit (SIPS). This is a part-time position, working 24 hours weekly on night shifts (7pm-7am), and is benefit eligible. The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The SIPS unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients, including those undergoing total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions from areas like the emergency room or a physician’s office.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred
