Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CNA certification preferred; PCA certificate may be accepted
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service industries preferred
  • A caring, patient, and compassionate attitude toward seniors

Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and more
  • Preparing residents for meals, snacks, and activities
  • Assisting residents in the dining room – serving meals and clearing tables
  • Responding to the resident emergency call system
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in residents’ conditions to the Resident Care Director (RCD)
  • Communicating with residents and families in a polite, professional, and compassionate manner
  • Maintaining accurate resident care documentation per state regulations and company policies
  • Supporting housekeeping in maintaining clean, comfortable, and safe resident spaces
