Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
CNA certification preferred; PCA certificate may be accepted
CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service industries preferred
A caring, patient, and compassionate attitude toward seniors

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and more
Preparing residents for meals, snacks, and activities
Assisting residents in the dining room – serving meals and clearing tables
Responding to the resident emergency call system
Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in residents’ conditions to the Resident Care Director (RCD)
Communicating with residents and families in a polite, professional, and compassionate manner
Maintaining accurate resident care documentation per state regulations and company policies
Supporting housekeeping in maintaining clean, comfortable, and safe resident spaces
