About The Position

Maine Medical Center - Biddeford/Sanford Nursing Clinical Resources REQ# 48885 Part Time/Night Shift (1900-0700) For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 3 years of RN experience! Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Maine Medical Center - Sanford is currently seeking a Part Time, Night Shift Nursing Supervisor to direct Nursing Services operations and acts as hospital administrator responsible for coordinating institutional activities on the assigned shift on all assigned campuses. Responsible for directing and overseeing department employees and activities and supporting and enforcing hospital and departmental policies, procedures and objectives. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in the ED or ICU; or preferably 5 years of med surg in addition to leadership experience This is a very active position, supporting all areas. Responsible for the flow of patients throughout the hospital Responsible for coordination of inpatient admissions and adjusting resources to meet patient needs as needs and demands change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or Associate's Degree in Nursing with equivalent experience required.
  • Current Registered Nurse license from the Maine Board of Nursing required.
  • Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Five years of experience in acute care setting required.
  • Three years of experience in hospital admissions related environment preferred.
  • Experience in day to day oversight of clinical staff required.

Nice To Haves

  • Current ACLS Certification preferred.
  • Experience in the ED or ICU; or preferably 5 years of med surg in addition to leadership experience
