About The Position
The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) ensures the delivery of safe, quality nursing care on the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). As an essential member of a multidisciplinary care team, the CNM uses and role models the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the highest standard of care and provides education to teammates, patients, and families. A typical day on the PICU consists of interacting with teammates and patients and ensuring the safety of both. Patients begin their day being encouraged and mentored by teammates. Teammates provide structured skill building activities and interaction throughout the day.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
- Three years of nursing experience, including one year of experience in a Nurse Supervisor capacity.
