About The Position

Now Hiring: Nurse Shift Supervisor Available: 8-hour shifts working 5-days a week from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am. Available: 12-hour shifts working 3-days a week from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. We're seeking a Nurse Shift Supervisor who thrives in a supportive environment and takes pride in elevating nursing standards. What You'll Do As our Nurse Shift Supervisor, you will guide nursing operations during your assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care. You'll provide hands-on leadership, mentor staff, support admissions, maintain compliance, and foster a positive, collaborative workplace.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • 1+ year of nursing experience (behavioral health or geriatric preferred)
  • CPR, First Aid, de-escalation, and restraint certifications (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing staff and provide real-time coaching and support
  • Assist with patient admissions and ensure protocol accuracy
  • Lead shift-change meetings and reinforce our “Better Way” principles
  • Participate in quality audits and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Support new hire orientation and ongoing staff development
  • Manage supply needs and maintain operational readiness
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage
