About The Position

Opportunity for those Registered Nursing Students graduating in December 2025 or earlier with less than one year of acute care experience. This position will begin June 22nd, 2026, and requires a two-year full-time commitment. BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Under the supervision of an individual licensed to practice professional nursing, the graduate nurse will manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. REPORTS TO Nurse Manager

Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelors Preferred, Associates Required
Degree: Degree in Nursing
License/Certification Required: Must provide proof of graduation from an approved school of nursing within the previous 90 days, and must provide proof of first authorization to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX); may practice for a period not to exceed 120 consecutive calendar days from receipt of authorization to take NCLEX and must practice at all times under the supervision of an individual licensed to practice professional nursing.
Minimum Work Experience: Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated clinical abilities.
Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs.
Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs.
Frequent bending, walking, sitting squatting, reaching, and standing are required.
Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities
