About The Position

PMR Healthcare is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Mount Vernon, IN ! In this role you'll provide Primary Care & Occupational Healthcare for the employees and families of one of PMR's clients (a local employer group). This role is perfect for nurse practitioners interested in full-scope family practice, who want more time with patients to focus on preventative care and root cause medicine—all within a structured weekly schedule ( no holidays, weekends, or on-call hours). The final candidate selected will: Provide comprehensive (expanded-scope) primary care and occupational healthcare services for a small, set patient base. Advocate for patient health, using PMR-provided tools/programs to develop care plans. Provide thorough, accurate documentation within PMR patient record systems (dictation service provided). Support PMR's Patient Education Program when needed during educational events. Establish positive, lasting relationships with patients and their families. Have the opportunity to ignore typical fee-for-service position drawbacks (PMR has no cap on patient visit times, daily patient total requirements, or insurance restrictions).

Requirements

  • Currently licensed to practice in Indiana as an NP, FNP, etc.
  • Current BLS certification, licensure, and DEA/CSR registration.
  • Full-time basis. Availability can be discussed further during interviews. There are never weekend or holiday hours scheduled at this M-F clinic (additionally no rounds or on-call requirements).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and professional environment.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive both independently and as a team player.
