About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP - Part-time 12 hours per week M-F (Two days 8am-2pm onsite, one of the days must be Tues, Weds, or Thurs) San Bernardino Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) is an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program and serves 50 unduplicated clients, ages 18+, that may have a history of frequent psychiatric hospitalizations and a history of homelessness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
