JOB SUMMARY As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at Catalyst Physician Group, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping our communities thrive by providing direct patient care and supporting clinical operations. You will see approx. 15-25 patients per day and have in office support as well as Catalyst support teams including 24/7 care team support, referral coordinators and more.

Requirements

Current Texas license and certification
Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program
Experience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic setting
Competent with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making

Nice To Haves

1-3 years related experience preferably in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care outpatient setting
Athena EMR experience

Responsibilities

Providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care delivery
Patient assessment
Age appropriate history and physical
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays relative to a patients specific needs
Annual exams
Educating patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices
Documenting encounters in the Athena EMR
