About The Position

Stamford Health is seeking an adaptable & resilient nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our well-established multidisciplinary pain management program in the Division of Pain Medicine. Our division currently provides acute, chronic, and cancer pain management across the care continuum. Our multimodal approach includes medication optimization, interventional approaches, physical and occupational therapy and behavioral medicine. The Division of Pain Medicine is also invested in clinical research with a focus on innovative interventional approaches, remote therapeutic monitoring, and patient reported outcome measures. In this role, our APRN or PA will collaborate with our physicians and float between our in-patient pain management consult service and our out-patient pain management center. Our APRN or PA will work closely alongside our pain management physicians to provide a broad range of clinical activities including evaluation, diagnostics, treatment, and patient education across the care continuum. In the outpatient setting, the APP would also be expected to communicate with patients directly to provide clinical guidance as needed and to assist and advise clinical staff members. Experience in Pain Medicine at an academic institution or established pain program/practice appreciated but not a requirement. Experience in orthopedics or neurology helpful.
