Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Breast and Gyn Oncology
About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—with a strong interest in breast and gynecologic oncology to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside six dedicated oncologists, two experienced APPs, and a collaborative care team including social workers, nurses, and support staff. The APP will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across the continuum—from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in collaboration with oncologists, including assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up.
- Manage oncology-related symptoms and treatment side effects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care planning meetings.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care.
- Coordinate care with internal and external providers, including surgical and radiation oncology.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate.
