Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cardiology - Supplemental
About The Position
The APRN or PA will work in a collaborative team effort to provide a complete scope of care for cardiology patients. The provision of care includes but is not limited to analyzing pathophysiology for various cardiovascular disease processes, developing cardiovascular diagnoses while formulating a treatment plan and evaluate patient response to treatment, and utilizing evidence-based medicine practices using quality, cost-effective care. Position Details: - See patients in both the hospital and clinic setting - Educating patients and families regarding cardiovascular disease process, including primary and secondary cardiac prevention, while remaining cognizant of the patient's emotional, physical and cultural needs - Providing effective communication and presentation skills with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
