About The Position

The Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner, is a skilled member of the allied health care team who is qualified both academically and clinically to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner works within a cooperative unit, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction. In this role, you will provide hospital support and rounding, ordering tests, and conducts pre-op and post-op care. Requirements

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Six months in specialty.
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants.
  • Must be eligible to obtain or already hold a current Applicable State Physician Assistant licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One year in specialty.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
