Nurse Manager - Long Term Care Unit
About The Position
We are currently seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for the Long-Term Care Unit! If you have strong interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement, have exceptional leadership skills that foster department and interdisciplinary teamwork and productivity, and want to make a difference, we want to meet you! Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager position is responsible for the coordination and delivery of nursing care in a long-term care unit. The successful candidate will have the support of charge nurses, an Assistant Unit Manager, an Assistant Director of Nursing, and an array of internal departments!
Requirements
- Registered Nurse License with current registration in New York State
- Possess a minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience in a health-care facility.
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Exceptional leadership skills that foster department and interdisciplinary teamwork, morale and productivity.
- Strong verbal, written interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement with supervisors, peers and subordinates.
