About The Position

The Nurse Manager utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Responsibilities include managing center functions and medical services, providing nursing care, overseeing the development of staff nurses and volunteers, and building and maintaining relationships with the community, Health Department, school nurses, and other appropriate medical facilities. A current registered nursing license in the state of Illinois is required. The position is part-time (20-24 hours) with the ability to grow with expanded client care. Living Alternatives will provide ultrasound training for the hired Nurse Manager in order to equip them with the limited ultrasound scanning skills needed. This skill is not easily picked up by every medical professional, but we are willing to explore this possibility with you before a hiring decision is made. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Indiana.
  • CPR/BBP certifications (will provide training).
  • Demonstrates commitment and maturity in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • Agrees with and upholds the Mission and all corporate statements, policies & procedures of Living Alternatives.
  • Exhibits a strong commitment and dedication to the Gospel and to the sanctity of human life; affirms life and never refers or advises a woman to have an abortion.
  • Is dependable, stable, and capable of following through on commitments; self-motivated; ability to carry out responsibilities independently.
