About The Position

The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing medication management across all Transformation House sites, ensuring safe administration, documentation, compliance, and disposal of medications. This role serves as the designated site nurse for one residential location while directly supervising LPNs and nursing personnel. The Nurse Manager works collaboratively with leadership and medical professionals to ensure high-quality, compliant, and client-centered care. Requirements

• Active RN License with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing.
• Proof of 12 hours of Co-Occurring training at time of hire.
• Knowledge and understanding of Minnesota Statutes 245G and 245A (Human Services Licensing Act), sections 626.556 (Maltreatment of Minors Act), 626.557 and 626.5572 (Vulnerable Adult Act).
• Knowledge of Minnesota Department of Health regulations.
• Ability to pass a background study.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a substance use disorder facility or mental health facility.
• Two to three years of related nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assure facility compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and laws; assist in assuring State and Federal requirements are met; prepare reports, maintain records, and compile statistics as required.
• Supervise nursing personnel.
• Complete new patient admissions within required timeframes.
• Assist patients with medical appointments and medical/medication needs.
• Complete end-of-month nursing documentation in a timely manner.
• Delegate daily work assignments to nursing personnel.
• Complete sign-off for staff on medication administration.
• Provide on-call availability to on-site staff and intake personnel; additional shift coverage must be pre-approved.
• Ensure monthly Recovery Tech meetings are conducted with nursing-led training.
• Enforce facility policies and issue corrective action when necessary.
• Audit charts and electronic health records to ensure compliance with acceptable nursing standards.
• Review care plans weekly to ensure appropriate care is provided.
• Follow all controlled drug policies and procedures.
• Oversee medication disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
