RieLes Group seeks to foster a relationship with each employee and our business partners Wellness Center Operations – Nursing Staff Department of the Interior (DOI) Stuart Lee Udall Building Wellness Center Location: 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC, 20240 Opportunity Overview The Department of the Interior (DOI), through the Office of Facilities and Administrative Services (OFAS), is seeking qualified nursing professionals to support operations at the Stuart Lee Udall Building Wellness Center. This center provides occupational health services, emergency triage, and wellness programs to federal employees. This position supports the health and safety of federal employees through direct care, preventive services, and emergency response. The Wellness Center handles approximately 1,000 visits annually and plays a vital role in DOI’s workforce readiness and wellness initiatives. This opportunity supports a base year plus four (4) option years contract and plays a critical role in maintaining workforce health, safety, and readiness. Period of Performance: Base Year: June 3, 2026 – June 2, 2027 Option Years through June 2, 2031 Proposed Staffing Plan 1 Full-Time Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse) 1 Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) 1 Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Work Schedule Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM Nurse Manager (Full-Time): Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Provides onsite leadership and operational oversight Part-Time Registered Nurse: 2 days/week (e.g., Tuesday & Thursday), 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Provides supplemental coverage and backup support Licensed Practical Nurse: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Supports peak patient volume and routine care

Requirements

  • Nurse Manager (RN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active, unrestricted RN license (U.S. State/Territory/DC)
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical experience
  • At least 1 year in occupational/ambulatory care (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience managing clinic or wellness center operations
  • Registered Nurse (Part-Time) BSN required
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical experience
  • Ambulatory care experience preferred
  • BLS Certification
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • Active LPN license
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
  • Compliance with credentialing and badging requirements
  • Adherence to professional nursing standards and federal regulations
  • Protection of PII/PHI in compliance with HIPAA
  • Timely submission of clinical and operational reports
  • Participation in audits, inspections, and quality assurance programs

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ambulatory nursing services, including first aid, triage, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • Respond to workplace medical emergencies and stabilize patients
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and DOI policies
  • Manage medication dispensing and clinical inventory
  • Oversee daily Wellness Center operations
  • Ensure compliance with federal occupational health standards
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and reporting requirements
  • Lead quality assurance and performance monitoring
  • Coordinate with DOI leadership, Medical Director, and OSHE staff
  • Conduct health education seminars and wellness initiatives
  • Support flu vaccination campaigns, screenings, and health fairs
  • Coordinate blood drives and CPR/AED training
  • Promote employee wellness and preventive care
  • Provide nursing coverage for 2–3 annual after-hours events (e.g., July 4th, high-level federal events)
