The Nurse Manager, Interventional Services is responsible for the operational leadership, administrative oversight, and systemwide coordination of all interventional services functions across UCI Health. The incumbent is accountable for all aspects of performance within the assigned program, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care in alignment with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards, including The Joint Commission and applicable state and federal requirements. This role maintains accountability for departmental operational processes, staffing, scheduling, budgetary performance, and financial accountability across all assigned interventional services areas. The Director leads the development and implementation of systemwide departmental goals, policies, and performance improvement initiatives, and is responsible for the selection, onboarding, competency validation, performance evaluation, and professional development of all assigned interventional services coworkers. This position collaborates with interventional physicians, nursing leadership, clinical operations, and senior administrative leadership to standardize workflows, advance clinical quality, and ensure operational consistency across all facilities. The exercises wide latitude of authority in determining departmental goals and measures to achieve systemwide interventional services operational and clinical objectives with limited oversight.
