Position Summary: The Assistant Nurse Manager, Interventional Services supports the day-to-day clinical operations, coworker management, and quality oversight of interventional services within an assigned facility or defined service area. The incumbent assists in directing the activities of interventional services coworkers, ensuring that all patient care activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and departmental policies and procedures. This role shares accountability for staffing and scheduling coordination, coworker competency, daily workflow management, supply and resource utilization, and the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic interventional environment. The Assistant Nurse Manager assists in the onboarding and orientation of new coworkers, supports the performance evaluation process, and provides ongoing coaching and mentorship to frontline coworkers. The incumbent contributes to performance improvement initiatives, participates in quality and safety reviews, and helps implement departmental goals and operational changes as directed. This position works under the direction and oversight of the Nurse Manager, Interventional Services, and exercises sound independent judgment in managing unit-level operational and clinical issues within the assigned interventional services area.
