About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a self-directed and clinically strong Nurse Manager to lead an 11-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) in Mt. Dora, FL. This leadership role oversees daily operations, staffing, and clinical excellence while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a low-volume emergency setting. The Nurse Manager will operationalize evidence-based practices, optimize patient throughput (admissions and discharges), and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage nursing practice, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of recent (within the last year) Acute Care ER leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Coordinator, or Supervisor required)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
  • BCLS required within 30 days of start
  • ACLS required within 6 months of start
  • PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of start

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a large healthcare system environment preferred
