About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) department within an acute care hospital setting. This role partners closely with Surgical Services leadership to ensure compliance, efficiency, staff development, and the highest standards of patient safety. The CSP Manager plays a critical role in supporting advanced surgical programs, including orthopedic and spine services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Certification from an approved Sterile Processing / CSP technical program (required)
  • 3–5 years of hands-on Sterile Processing experience (required)
  • Prior Lead or Supervisor experience in an acute care hospital setting (required)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Staff Management Support orientation, training, scheduling, and performance management of CSP staff
  • Promote professional development and a culture of accountability and quality
  • Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance Ensure adherence to all applicable accreditation, regulatory, and infection control standards related to sterile processing
  • Maintain readiness for surveys and audits
  • Operational Oversight Manage daily sterile processing operations to ensure timely, accurate instrument availability for surgical services
  • Optimize workflows to support efficiency and quality outcomes
  • Policy & Procedure Development Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating departmental policies and procedures in alignment with current best practices
  • Safety & Quality Assurance Ensure all instruments and equipment are processed according to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Support the organization’s commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
