About The Position

The Clinical Educator RN develops, implements and sustains clinical education/training and competency requirements for the clinical workforce within SMG/ACN. Primary responsibility for clinical education/training, competency development and assessment, learning assessments, instructor-led classes, written materials and e-learning modules in response to the needs of the organization. Additional responsibilities for identifying and establishing standards and best practices. Ensure that training and competency measurements are implemented so that care is provided in accordance with ambulatory care policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and state and federal regulations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing with minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • 3 years Experience in clinical education in healthcare setting and/or direct nursing care experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Strong preference for an advanced degree in Nursing, education or Business/Health
  • Teaching degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Ambulatory care and/or medical group practice setting experience.
