About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Nurse Educator – Labor & Delivery (L&D) for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience (required)
- Strong, verifiable background in acute care settings
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program (required)
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Primary source license verification via New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Nursing Education or related field (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Clinical Education: Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs and in-service training for Labor & Delivery and Medical/Surgical nursing staff.
- Staff Development: Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and clinical guidance to support professional growth and best practices.
- Competency Validation: Assess, document, and maintain clinical competencies in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Clinical Resource: Serve as a subject matter expert for complex L&D and Med/Surg cases, supporting bedside practice and clinical decision-making.
- Quality Improvement: Partner with nursing leadership to identify learning gaps and implement targeted educational initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
