About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and newborns throughout the childbirth continuum. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care while promoting positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of Registered Nurse experience in Labor & Delivery or a related specialty
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Active New Jersey RN license or multi-state compact license
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
- Perform ongoing patient assessments based on medical diagnosis, patient needs, and functional health frameworks
- Provide therapeutic nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery patients
- Manage and coordinate patient care across the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
- Accurately document patient care in compliance with clinical standards and patient acuity requirements
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support safe and effective labor and delivery processes
- Advocate for evidence-based practices and support clinical innovation in care delivery
- Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models
- Float between labor and postpartum units as operationally required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
