About The Position

Strategic & Clinical Leadership o Oversee the professional psychiatric nursing practice across the organization, ensuring policies and standards of care are evidence-based and uniformly applied o Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, organizational vision, and innovation Patient Care & Quality Improvement o Define and uphold clinical nursing standards, drive patient safety initiatives, and monitor quality metrics o Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs and regulatory compliance, including Joint Commission standards Workforce & Talent Management o Oversee staffing strategies, nurse recruitment, retention, and professional development efforts for o Supervise nurse leaders, ensuring the nursing workforce operates effectively and aligns with organizational goals Financial Stewardship & Operations o Analyze operational efficiency and optimize use of resources — including staffing, supply, and technology Collaboration & Advocacy o Act as the nursing representative to hospital leadership, governing body, and external parties, advocating for resources and patient-centered care

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
  • Six years of RN nursing experience
  • Four years of experience in a Nurse Supervisor capacity
