Assures clinical care in accordance with DHHS guidelines for care and treatment of adults and adolescents infected with HIV. Works collaboratively with PI Outcomes Manager monitoring performance measurements associated with HIV clinical care. Provide nursing care assessment of patients with HIV infection and other infectious diseases scheduled for outpatient medical care appointments at the Early Intervention Program. Performs direct patient care utilizing nursing protocols, triages patient needs. Assists physicians and Advanced Practive Nurses with clinical care procedures such as HCV therapy and gynecological examinations. Function as a liaison for EIP and ID hospitalized patients facilitating seamless transition to the outpatient medical care setting.
