About The Position

Nurse Aide Faculty, Part-Time, Non-Credit, (Adjunct Faculty Pool)

Requirements

• Associates degree required. Any and all degrees must be from a recognized institutional accreditor.
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN )
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an RN or LPN , with at least one year (2,000 hours) in a licensed long-term care facility is required.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation ( NATCEP ) Teaching-the-Educator ( TTE ) certificate is required.
• Criminal History Record Information ( CHRI ) must be acceptable in accordance with P.L. 169 of 1997.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least one (1) year of experience as a NATCEP instructor is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations and addressing equity gaps.
• Demonstrated experience teaching within a community college.
• Bilingual or other language proficiency.
