This temporary assignment supports the department’s ongoing digitization initiative by converting controlled paper documents into fully indexed, electronic records. The individual in this role will handle a large volume of physical documents — including controlled drawings, operating procedures, technical manuals, vendor manuals, and engineering calculations — and prepare them for digital storage. Key responsibilities include: Safely handling and organizing paper documents. Scanning documents using designated imaging equipment. Ensuring scan quality and completeness. Indexing documents accurately according to established naming and filing conventions. Tracking progress and daily throughput using a spreadsheet or similar tracking tool. Maintaining document integrity and following all applicable controls for regulated and sensitive materials.
