About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a permanent opportunity in Fort Pierce, Florida. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and screening procedures involving ionizing radiation in accordance with ALARA standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols while delivering high-quality, patient-centered imaging services.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted certification/licensure for the position you are applying for.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician license required.
• ARRT (Registered Radiographer) OR NMTCB (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) REQUIRED.
• Associate Degree required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical nuclear medicine procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic and screening purposes.
• Operate, regulate, and monitor imaging equipment to ensure accurate image acquisition
• Develop, process, and organize imaging studies according to departmental standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
• Provide care to patients across the lifespan in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnoses.
