About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining departmental standards. In this role, you will ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred
- CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
Responsibilities
- Perform on-call tasks, when necessary, as well as a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Perform venipuncture and IV placement
- Be able to work independently and unsupervised
- Perform quality control procedures, as required for all equipment, and become familiar with the film filing system
