The Electric Engineering department, comprising approximately 2,000 coworkers, is responsible for all aspects of electric engineering, including standards, process safety, design, instrumentation testing, controls, undergrounding, regulatory compliance, and investment planning. The organization handles program planning, financial budgeting, and project execution for all electric engineering projects. The Transmission and Substation NST (Notification Strategy Team) Engineer examines findings and data from asset inspection activities to ensure alignment with safety, maintenance, and compliance guidelines. This role involves applying engineering experience, PG&E standards, and strategy-based analysis to validate and recommend necessary maintenance work. The successful candidate will collaborate with other NST Specialists/Engineers and various lines of business such as System Inspections, SI Quality, Standards, Maintenance, and Construction to ensure program success. This is a hybrid position, combining remote work with an assigned work location based on business need, which is flexible within the PG&E Service Territory.
