About The Position

Medical Associates Clinic is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Family Medicine team located in Cascade and Dyersville. This is a 4-day workweek position. Medical Associates Clinic is a physician-owned multi-specialty group practice with over 200 providers and 900 healthcare professionals, leading the way in providing quality healthcare in Northeast Iowa, Southwest Wisconsin, and Northwest Illinois.

Requirements

• Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• Comfortable seeing newborns through adults, procedures including splinting and injections, splinting (or willing to learn).
• Equivalent to a college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree.
• Must be a licensed ARNP or PA.
• The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
• Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Newborn through adults, walk-in appointments
• Procedures including suturing and injections
• Splinting
• Work independently without a physician onsite
• Provide direct medical care under the direction of supervising physician; including but not limited to: obtaining histories, physical exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate lab and x ray studies, establishing diagnosis, and initiating treatment plan.
• Provide patient education to promote wellness and support disease management process.
• Complete all other assigned projects and duties as assigned.
