About The Position

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system, providing expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. Physicians and community hospitals count on us to care for critically ill patients and perform complex surgical procedures. Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is recognized as a Magnet(R) designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the largest and most prominent nurses credentialing organization in the world. JHACH is looking for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal PA to join their Level IV NICU! The practitioner role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.

Requirements

  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current FL State Licensure as an APRN or PA
  • Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
  • Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA
  • 1 year of NICU experience as an NNP or PA; or NICU RN experience if New Grad
