About The Position

Northeast Regional VP Renewables serves the sales process for complex and technical products for AWG’s customers across Data Center markets including Wind, Solar, Battery Storage, with a strategic emphasis and focus on Northeast U.S. Data Center Development. This role is responsible for driving specification, project wins, and long-term account growth with EPCs, developers, contractors, owners, and operators supporting renewable and mission-critical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer-facing capabilities.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy markets and/or mission-critical power infrastructure.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related reporting tools.
  • Prior experience in renewables, power infrastructure, electrical distribution, or proven sales individual.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into Data Centers or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and grow relationships with Renewable and Data Center customers, ensuring AWG is specified in project designs and awarded work.
  • Own and expand AWG’s presence within Northeast data center markets, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, EPCs, and owner-operators.
  • Provide account management across Wind, Solar, Battery Storage, and Data Center customers, including First-Tier EPCs, Developers, OEMs, and Owners.
  • Identify and pursue new data center-driven power infrastructure opportunities, including utility interconnects, substations, BESS, and on-site generation.
  • Travel to customers and project locations to deepen relationships and support business development efforts.
  • Consult existing and prospective customers to assess technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
  • Support development of new products within wire & cable and adjacent equipment verticals aligned with renewables and data center needs.
  • Lead and successfully conclude negotiations for new and expanded business.
  • Manage and resolve issues arising during normal business operations.
  • Provide sales forecasting and pipeline visibility as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive commercial and strategic information.
  • Act as a collaborative, accountable member of the sales organization.
