About The Position

Applications are welcome from all areas of Supply Chain Management. Ideal candidates will have the capacity to be an excellent teacher at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Although courses in various aspects of Supply Chain Management are the focus for this position, candidates who also have experience with and can teach courses in Sales could be especially attractive. This position is Tampa-based, but faculty may be assigned to teach courses on any of the USF campuses or online. Being able to develop and nurture relationships with industry partners and work with co-curricular student groups and initiatives are also important for this position. This is a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track instructional faculty position.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree with specialization in supply chain management or in other related disciplines from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited institution before the start of employment.
  • Must meet university criteria for appointments to the rank of Assistant Instructor or Assistant Professor of Instruction.
  • Evidence of expertise in supply chain management and ability to teach related subjects to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts
  • Reputation of the institution granting the candidate’s degree
  • Reputation of the institution(s) where the candidate might have been employed previously
