About The Position

Is victim advocacy and leadership your calling? We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead and support a team working with victims of domestic violence at the intersection of weapons-related violence. This role requires strong supervision skills, sound judgment in complex cases, and a commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered services. $750 sign on bonus may apply

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and oversight to staff supporting victims of domestic violence
  • Guide staff through complex and high-risk cases and monitor case progress
  • Assist staff with problem-solving, systems navigation, and resource coordination
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, funding requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including some evenings and weekends
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, belonging, and professional growth
