As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. ---------------------------------------- Role Summary: Responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant, including the profitability, monitoring all costs and controls while not compromising guest satisfaction or quality. To operate the restaurant to the highest of standards; to comply with Nobu procedures and policies and applicable laws and regulations governing health and safety and the workplace. Maintain excellent guest relations and develop a loyal clientele, including VIP's and regulars.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Minimum 2-year(s) experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
  • Food handling certificate.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Patience and Integrity.
  • Calm under pressure: must have the ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, effectively prioritize work and assignments, and accurately meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to thrive during very high levels of business.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant, including the profitability, monitoring all costs and controls while not compromising guest satisfaction or quality.
  • To operate the restaurant to the highest of standards; to comply with Nobu procedures and policies and applicable laws and regulations governing health and safety and the workplace.
  • Maintain excellent guest relations and develop a loyal clientele, including VIP's and regulars.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure guests have extraordinary experiences.
  • Assist in the training, mentoring, supervision and motivation of team.
  • Assist in hiring, coaching, disciplining, counseling, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Adhere to, and enforce, that cash management systems set up properly.
  • Manage cost controls and understand P&L compliance.
